Nissan LEAF:  100% Electric – Zero Emissions – Here Today

The five-passenger, all-electric Nissan LEAF has arrived in New Hampshire.  This totally new type of car with its lithium-manganese battery, (good for 100 miles and rechargeable in eight hours), has just arrived at Nissan of Keene.

You are invited to come for a test drive. We think you’ll be amazed. The car is absolutely silent, has no gas tank or tailpipe, and uses no gasoline whatsoever. You can even call your car from your smartphone and tell it to start up and turn on the heat or air conditioning. (Then it will call you back to let you know when this has been done. No kidding.)

New Hampshire drivers should be pleased that the Cold Weather Package, (consisting of a battery heater, heated outside mirrors, heated steering wheel, heated front and rear seats, and an HVAC duct to the rear seating area), is now standard equipment on the SL model. It also comes standard with the addition of a quick-charge port.

About Nissan of Keene:
Nissan of Keene, is a new and used Nissan dealer in Keene, New Hampshire. They offer an extensive selection of new Nissan models and certified pre-owned Nissan vehicles to customers in New Hampshire, Massachusetts and the entire New England Area.
With knowledgeable Nissan car repair technicians and a fully-stocked inventory of genuine Nissan car parts, the dealership also services and repairs Nissan vehicles. They also offer Nissan Commercial Vehicles for customers in NH, MA, and VT.

The new 2012 Nissan Versa Sedan, with a starting price of $10990 and most legroom per dollar of any car in America, is quite a hit.

“We can’t keep the new Nissan Versa Sedan in stock. People are buying them as soon as they roll of the truck.”, says Tony Percoco, General Sales Manager at Nissan of Keene in Keene, New Hampshire. “We can’t wait for the all new Versa Hatchback to arrive as well. Those will be in shortly”, he added.

Nissan of Keene is proud to announce a new website devoted to the new line of Nissan Commercial Vehicles. The site featuring the new Nissan Commercial vans and trucks, is located at http://www.nissancommercialvehicles.us .

Based on a chassis similar to that of Nissan’s full-size Titan pickup, these vans represent an entirely new line of business for the automaker in the U.S. market. (Nissan of Keene will primarily serve customers in New Hampshire, Vermont, and Massachusetts, but customers from anywhere in New England are welcome.)

They are full-size (maxi) vans that come in three versions, the NV1500, NV2500HD and NV3500HD, and offer a choice of a V-6 or V-8 engine and either a standard-height roof or a raised roof that is high enough for someone 6-foot-3 to stand up inside.

The NV has a 120-inch cargo floor length and 70.2-inch maximum interior width. Standard models can accommodate cargo up to 55.8 inches, while those with the high roof can hold items up to 76.9 inches high. That also allows the interior to be configured as a mobile workspace, in which most people would be able to stand up without touching the ceiling

The dealership is very enthusiast about this new line of Nissan vehicles, which will be at the New Hampshire dealership in April. (Both Nissan Commercial Vans and Trucks are expected at that time.) Nothing quite like these vehicles were available before now, and Nissan of Keene is proud to offer this entirely new line. “A work vehicle that’s more than a van.”

Nissan Commercial Vehicles @ Nissan of Keene, Keene NH

Nissan Commercial Vehicles NH

Nissan of Keene was recently chosen as one of only two dealerships in New Hampshire to offer the new Nissan Commercial Vehicles.

Earlier this month the dealership had a sneak peek at the new vehicles, as representatives from Nissan brought one for dealership personal to inspect and road-test in person. Naturally, photos were taken of the new Commercial Vehicles at the dealership, and they are now available to you online here —>

Nissan of Keene employees discovered for themselves how these vans are easy to drive and maneuver through city traffic, even though they’re 20 inches longer than the E-series (formerly called Econoline) vans from Ford, sales of which account for 55 percent of the large-van market. The Nissan vans have a shorter turning radius than the Ford models. (Nissan brought examples of both for road-testing.)

Also different is the engine layout in the Nissan van. It has an engine compartment that sticks out in front of the vehicle as it does in a traditional pickup, while in the Ford and GM commercial vans, the engine sits under a large cover between the driver and front-seat passenger, severely limiting legroom for the passenger. In the industry, this cover is called a “doghouse.”

Contact Nissan of Keene and see how the way you drive your business can get a lot better.

Last month, to honor Nissan of Keene’s 18th year in business, the dealership gave away prizes to some lucky customers. (Customers who test-drove a vehicle were eligble to enter, and at the end of the month a drawing was held.)

We are pleased to announce the contest winners:

The Grand Prize, a flat screen HDTV, went to Beth Willey.

Second Prize was one of three iPods. The winners were:

Tom Izbicki, (pictured below), Sue Biolsi, and Sharon Goddeau.

Congratulations!
